So I decided to Keep this blog as my journal. Holly is posting questinon's for her journal so I am going to join in. And I am also going to try and keep a good journal. So the first question was describe your dad.
My dad to me is very adventurous, yet very hardworking determined and kind hearted and very stubborn. lol He love to treasure hunt and I think it has wore off on most of us. He love to go riding and looking for those Spanish markings on the trees. Someday he will find something big! He love to watch all the treasure shows and has read all the treasure book out there. I remember going with him and digging up what ever we would find when we were little well OK I just did a few summers ago but its so exciting. My dad is a very hard worker and knows how to get the job done. And always have his whole life and has taught me very good work ethics.
He has taught me if you want something go get it. Work hard for everything you have. And it is so true. It feels so good to work hard and earn everything you have. I have always admired how hard he has worked for what they have and what they have given me. It make you appreciate it more.
My dad has always had a good heart and care very much for people. He is a wonderful father and an awesome grandfather. Growing up I didn't always listen and we didn't always get along. but now as a mother I hate to say it but he was right. lol . I find myself doing and saying the exact thing he used to do and tell me. I have to tell you that man has some patience. I remember one time we just got a brand new t.v. my dad was at work and mom was busy being a mom and I was a little shit got a knife and poked out all the buttons on our new t..v. don't ask me why I still don't know. but the minute I got done I was horrified. I hid under my bed until he got home. I cried for about 3 hours under that bed. When he got home I didn't get into to much trouble but it sure taught me a lesson. I never poked buttons out of anything again. lol and we just got rid of that t.v. not to long ago.
He loves to be in the mountains and four wheel and metal detect. It has always been one of his passions . And he has passed that passion on. My mom does to. He loves to camp and is one of the best fisherman I know. We always would go fishing growing up , it was so fun and we continue to camp hike and fish. It is always fun and he has some of the best big fish stories. I remember one time out of many I have lost my fishing pole, but one of the best was when we were fishing up to east park , I had put my pole down in a fish holder, cause my dad wouldn't let me hold it cause all I liked to do was cast, and had no patience, so I finally got a fish and I was playing and all the sudden all you saw was my pole going in the water. My dad took off diving in the water after it. He got it of course, but no fish . but a lot of laughs. Soaking wet we finished our fishing day. I had a tendency to loose my poles in the water. I don't know how many Ive lost or how many he went after. lol but after the years I finally got a little patience and actually stated catching fish instead of trees.
He has always played a big role in the family. Setting a good example and being somebody you would be proud to grow up like. He has always shown great love to my mother and always treated her like his queen. He taught us to have great respect for our parents It probably didn't show growing up all the time but now once again he was right. Now having a family a of my own I know how important it is to respect your parents and to teach them to be respectful. He taught me how to work as a team with my husband.
His appearance he is only about 5-9- and I have no idea how much he weighs, He had red hair had is the key word but after all of us its kinda going gray! He has always had a mustache or beard. I cant remember the last time I have seen him cleaned shaved. He kinda looks tough on the outside but inside he has a heart of gold. He is really stubborn but also very patience and loving. Thanks dad for being such a wonderful father and a good example. And I am very blessed to have you in my life and thank you for everything. I love you dad!
